Brother Queerest: Blood in the Sand

A camp queer horror comedy in one act

Palm Springs. A sandstorm. Flamingos. And another body problem.

Brother Queerest: Blood in the Sand brings the gloriously theatrical world of Brother Queerest to the desert, where sunshine, fabulous surroundings, and carefully cultivated appearances can't keep something deadly from blowing in. As the sandstorm closes around them, the characters find themselves trapped in another increasingly outrageous mystery where secrets surface, bodies accumulate, and even the flamingos have something to say about it.

Campy, macabre, fast-moving, and gleefully artificial, Blood in the Sand combines murder-mystery mechanics with queer comedy and deliberately ridiculous stagecraft. It stands on its own as a one-act play while expanding the wonderfully lethal world of Brother Queerest.

In Palm Springs, everyone wants to make an entrance. Surviving the exit is another matter.
